Tenant Services
PCRI’s mission is to preserve, expand and manage affordable housing in the City of Portland and provide access to, and advocacy for, services to our residents. Over the course of our twenty-year history, PCRI has stabilized thousands of families by providing them with affordable rental housing and asset-building programs and services. Our three community centers offer a variety of services to all PCRI residents.
Career Development
The Margaret Carter Neighborhood Network Center’s Career Development program is available to PCRI residents. Services include employment readiness training, career skills development workshops, job search assistance, transportation assistance, and computer access. A Resident Services staff member is on-site to meet the needs of residents by providing one-on-one assistance combined with information and referrals to PCRI’s community partners. The center also offers population-specific services, such as interpretation and property management support, to Amharic-speaking residents. It is a center that supports immigrant and non-immigrant residents with their career development goals.
