RE: Installation of an air conditioning and cooling units

Hello PCRI Tenant

Over the past few summers, Portland has experienced record heat levels. In fact, who can forget the 114-degree temperature we experienced last year on June 28, 2021? As a result of the rise in temperatures, PCRI was awarded a grant by the City of Portland Clean Energy Fund to install portable cooling or in-window air conditioning units for our residents.

Extreme heat events can be dangerous to our health – even fatal. Small children, the elderly, and others with chronic medical conditions are especially vulnerable. Limited units are available and will be installed on a first-come-first-served basis. If you are interested, please complete the attached sign-up form and return it as soon as possible. PCRI will retain ownership of the units.
