NE Junior Rehabilitation (2002)

October 4, 2002 · by pcriadmin · Rehabilitations

This 1915 Craftsman house with four bedrooms and one bath was one of PCRI’s first green building rehabilitation projects.  In addition to adding an upstairs half bath, the rehabilitation addressed lead paint hazards and included new cabinets, updated fixtures and improved finishes.  A new roof and fresh paint complimented efficiency improvements such as new insulation and windows, plus a new, efficient furnace and hot water heater.  Outside, low-maintenance native plants were added to beautify the yard and minimize watering requirements.
